I don't know why people always seem to forget 2004. Wade even hit a couple game winners in the playoffs. People also forget that in 2005 Wade basically won the ECSF by himself. It's also safe to say that he didn't get HOF production from anyone in the 2006 finals. Simply being labeled as a HOFer is irrelevant if you don't produce like one (e.g. Wade in the 2014 finals).

For careers it's obviously Kobe due to greater longevity. I'd take Wade if we compare their 3-4 best seasons though, he fares better in advanced stats, and i prefer his slashing game when it comes to playing elite defenses.

This is nonsense because Shaq in 06 wasn't really playing any better than Pau when the lakers won.

Great point, which I overlooked.
Wade has gotten out of the first round without a HOF teammate. Kobe has not
Ergo, Wade > Kobe.
