Observations from Sunday's 107-96 Eastern Conference finals loss to the Indiana Pacers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse:

-- The Pacers' 3-point success might have been a surprise, their ability to pound the Heat in the post shouldn't have been.

-- It hard to believe this is a Pacers team that was outrebounded by 40 by the Wizards in a game in the previous round.

-- Beyond LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, the Heat didn't have much.

-- Those Chris Bosh 3-pointers? Not there this time for the Heat.

-- And for the Heat, that changes everything.

-- Perhaps it had become too big a part of the Heat's approach.
