The people in here saying that the employees are all forced to kiss Sterling's as* ... are stupid. Obviously the team is spending a sh** load of money and making a bunch of moves so Sterling is supporting the team. If he doesn't sign off ... IT DOESN'T HAPPEN. Period.

Props to the whole Clippers organization for getting serious about winning. May Blake Griffin and Chris Paul lead us to championships .

Is Neil Olshey the run away GM/executive of the year winner assuming Clippers get a high playoff seed? So far this offseason....

    1. Sign Caron Butler
    2. Claim Chauncey Billups off waivers for 2 mill
    3. Match DJ's offer
    4. Trade for top 5 player in the NBA

ONE HELL OF A RESUME so far this year.

yeah he's making all the right decisions so far, and i think he probably isn't even done yet.

he'll probably grab us a solid SG before the deadline

    CP3 isn't Top 5.

    LeBron,Wade,Rose,Durant,Dwight all better.

If you can carry a team that consists of Aaron Gray, David West (injured for the playoffs), Marco Belinelli, and Jarrett Jack to the playoffs, I'm sure you're a Top 5 player.

Paul >>> Melo, I have him in my top 6-7 tho.

Lebron, Dirk, Wade, Howard and then Durant. CP3 at his best can be interchangeable with Durant imho--same with Kobe.

i'm basically fine with this list. also, just to piggyback on...i don't see a more lethal pick n roll out there that is interchangeable between two guys (DJ and blake) with someone like cp3. this should come pretty naturally. wade and lebron have more overall talent but you can tell lebron is still uncomfortable playing off the ball at times. that's when you usually see lebron floating around the perimeter.

cp3 will also help tremendously with pace. this team has the potential to slowly kill and torture you with the pick n' roll. if billups sets up on the weakside, he should get some open looks.

True. Wade and Lebron take turns. When one player is in iso.. the other is always standing around which is very bad basketball IMO. It's not all about raw talent. It's about chemistry. You put 3 of the most deadly pick and roll players in the NBA together (one as the guard, 2 finishers) and expect some intense results. Unlike Lebron and Wade who clash because they look to do the same things... it won't be like that for the Clippers.

DJ prefers to just anchor the defense, finish lobs and get wide open dunks. Blake likes to go to work in the post and take it to the rim as well as shoot the jumper. Chris Paul LOVES running the pick and roll and creating for people. Best lob tosser in NBA. It's crazy because CP3 is literally the PERFECT PG for our team.

BTW just to update those worried about Chauncey situation... CP3 tonight said that Chauncey and him are like brothers and that Chauncey will absolutely buy into w/e the team has him doing.
