I have watched like 80% of the Bulls games and I literally forget Rose is on the team I just look at that team and think of Taj/Noah/Pau and Jimmy with a bunch of other solid role players I literally still in my head think Rose is injured unless he's having some rare insane performance.

Rose was great in 11' and 12', even though he missed a good chunk of 12' due to injuries. He was a superstar for two years and an all-star for three (10'). He will be an all-star again in the future most likely. One rusty, inconsistent half a season does not mean that is what will happen for the rest of his career.

He doesn't seem to be getting better as the season goes along, so I think what we are seeing right now is his new reality, he's no longer an all-star, just a decent starter.

Only time will tell of course, but Rose doesn't strike me as a player who will age gracefully, his game is far too dependent on speed and athleticism.
