as a huge nuggets fan i would throw up if lawson was taken in that spot- nugs do need a pg badly, im just not a fan of lawson as an nba gaurd- i see a very low cieling jameer nelson style- mainly any gaurd the nugs bring in would need to be able to defend both gaurd spots, as iverson is unwilling or unable to cover a 1st or 2nd scoring option - maybe if ai is gone lawson could be a possibility- i would be very very dissapointed though

my choice for what i feel the nugs need is russel westbrook- are you assuming westbrook returns to ucla? i just cant picture westbrook returning if collison and love leave- if anything i could see love and collison returning more than westbrook- 4 final fours for collison would be awsome- and i feel love would secure a top 3 pick with another year and a better body&conditioning- & 2 titles?

with both lawson & augustine i feel maybe people arent quite realising that a cris paul is a once in a generation player- 5-10 guys generally are not made for the nba- you may be right that they both are taken lottery- i just dont think either should be
Jordan can do windmill of backboard and he's 7'0"...

    1) Brook Lopez is a top 5 pick.
    2) Hibbert is looking as a more likely 2nd rounder than top 10 pick right now.
    3) Kevin Love is not a top 3 pick. In any draft.

i can understand the beef with love goin 3rd...its a stretch i just felt wiht his outlet pass ability he would fit the up tempo memphis style but maybe he will drop, although draftexpress has him at 4.

i would also like to repoint out that this is only the 1st draft iwill make adjustments as to who declares, who stays, and the final slots of the draft order. also after mini camp workouts.

feel free to disagree i wont argue that im flawless or whatever

as for the pekovic thing maybe he does get drafted but with the deep crop of home grown players i see a bit of a downsizing in foreigners this year at least, especially since none of the recent foreigners has turned into anything.
i have to believe guys like mbah moute, joseph jones, chris lofton, and wayne chism(if he declares) will be drafted before pekovic this year

like i said i gave my reasons but i will make adjustments as necessary, or as i see fit. i guess no1 has any complains about comparisons...wow i thought that is where id get blasted the most lol. but thats the part i feel best about is maybe my picks are off a lil here or there but i feel most of my comparisons are pretty good relatively speaking. and i feel pretty good bout my 2nd round gems and steals piks...but hey if i didnt feel good i wouldnt post it

heres to trying to predict the future

I agree that the Grizz need a face for the franchise, but winning is the most important thing in putting fans in the seats, so with the 3rd pick I think you have to go with the best available that isn't a PG.

I'm not sure why you think the Knicks would pick Mayo if you are comparing him to Marbury. I think Bayless is a much more likely pick if he is available, and I'm not sure what Walsh is thinking, but I would imagine in an effort to dump of their players, this pick may be used as trade bait to perhaps pick up some vets who can correct things faster. They certainly won't get equal value in return for their players, but some vets who are proven winners could correct things pretty fast with young guys like Lee, Robinson, and Chandler. NY wants to win now, and Mayo won't make them win any more games than they have this year.

I can't believe Hibbert would go that high anymore as well. He is soft so while he would certainly help big a presence inside, he won't defend or rebound all that well. He is big and would take up space, but you could pick up Olowokandi to do that. Hibbert would be drafted more for his scoring and his size would just be an added extra. With that said, I think he would be a good fit with the Bobcats coming off the bench with Okafor and Wright starting at C and PF.

I think you have both Bayless and Brook Lopez going too low, but that is a just a personal opinion.

I really like Collison to the Blazers. That is an emerging defensive giant, and Collison would be the perfect player to install at the point.

I like Arthur and Budinger to the Nets, but I would probably flip their spots.

I think the Jazz will be pretty happy with Brewer at the 2, and with Thabeet on the board, I can't imagine they would pass him up.

I like a lot of your ideas and picks, but I just think you may go a little too much into team need because a lot of teams just go with the best available. Although with this drafting being so full of potential role players and specialists, it would be the perfect draft to go based on need becuase there is something for every team out there to fill a hole.
yea i may have a little too much team need but thats how i see things inmy perspective, honestly i think i cold be a better gm than 1/3 of those employed but hey...
i really liked collison to blazers as well hes clutch, defender, can hit open shots and can run a half-court offense which is what blazers will be, plus nat mcmillian can guide him

as far as jazz with brewer i dont know if theyre sold on him as the starter and if they are theyre still a little thin at that spot, but they do need a big man off the bench so i can agree with that

i dont think hibbert will fall as far as every1 else does, hes soft but hes still a big body in a league that dying for them, and his mid range game and passing abilties are still primo plus thabeet is pretty soft too and he also got upset in 1st round

He isn't a 1st rounder at any mock, but I think that if he goes in the 2nd round it would be a steal...
