The current "benefits to the poor" you are referring to are not actually benefits, but chains and dependency to big gov't, chains to poverty, and incentives to be poor.

They are not protesting against healthcare and immigration.

They are protesting against a giant bureaucracy in Washington DC, heavily influenced by lobbyists, in charge of your healthcare.

As for abortion, the overwhelming majority believes:
1st trimester abortion = should be LEGAL
2nd trimester abortion = should be ILLEGAL
3rd trimester abortion = should be ILLEGAL
