My main problem with him is that he has tons of talent, ultimate scoring prowess, and an ability to play (good) defense; yet, Melo sucks when it matters the most, not the last minutes of a game, the playoffs. He has a career playoff wininng % of .354, which for how many he's played, is historically bad. It just angers me seeing such potential go to waste.

The Knicks may finish next season with a top 4 seed in the East, but I still think Miami, Chicago, Indiana, and Brooklyn are all better Playoff teams and would all beat the Knicks in a 7 game series. If I remember correctly, more people were actually picking the Knicks to beat the Pacers than the other way around, so I don't see how you can call the majority of people here delusional. If anything, the Knicks have actually been overrated.

Melo is a nice player. I like him and had high hopes for him as a player his first few years on the Nuggets, but I don't see him as a big superstar or someone who's going to lead his team to a championship. He's always going to be a couple of tiers below the Dirks, Garnetts, Iversons, and Kidds. Melo doesn't have the same heart, and his low assists and bad defense really hurt him. And besides that, he doesn't have the greatest team around him either. Stat is always hurt and Chandler has not been playing as well as he was in Dallas.
