#1. He was born and raised in Palo Alto Ca.

He is American....



Palo Alto is a very interesting city in the Bay Area, it has a very upscale area with many Billion dollar company's and it also has one of the most Violent area's in the country "East Palo Alto" that is seperated by a rail road track.....(literally)

Lin grew up with both sides of the spectrum and was able to grow up and play against some of the best basketball players in the country while living in the Bay Area.




#2. Why so many people are praising him for having parents born overseas is beyond me???...Just because his parents are from Taiwan and are "Asian" doesn't mean (IMO) anything.....Why would you take pride in something you absolutely nothing to do with????....

"I have never been to _____(fill in random country).........YAY!!! ________(fill in random country)......everyone should celebrate ________(fill in random country).....even though I was just born the way I am and never been there......
