Default How good would Jay Williams have been in the NBA?

He only got one season under his belt before the motorcycle accident.

During his rookie year, he averaged 9.7 points, 4.7 assists 2.5 rebounds and a steal per game.

His shooting percentages were not very good.

Still, he was a very smart player and would only have gotten continually better as he got a better feel for the game.

I think in his prime, he would have averaged something like 19 points, 7.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds a game, and picked up a couple of all-star appearances.

He was not that good at all. Jesus can people stop overrating people who get injured. Shaun Livingston wasn't going to be a hall of famer either if he didn't get injured. He was going to be decent but he couldn't shoot a lick and was so weak it wasn't even funny. Jay Williams would have been a middle of the road PG and that's it.

Perhaps you are still shellshocked from the time The Great Chalmers dropped a scintillating 20 points on the Spurs in the 2013 finals?

Best player in college basketball. #2 pick in the NBA. One season where he averaged 10 and 4.

Safe to say he would've improved immensely and become an all-star.

Dude was legitimately explosive, could shoot, and had sick handles.

I watched his entire career at Duke. He was a great college player, but in the NBA his peak was an All-Star game or two.

Somewhere between a lesser Jameer and a better Zeke.
