Long arms mean the bar has to travel less distance, shorter arms means you have to lift it higher relative to your height.

I've been lifting now for 6 years... It took me 6 or 7 months to get to a 4 plate deadlift each side, and this considering I picked it up about 2 years into lifting after having time to strengthen every other muscle. This coming from someone who is glute dominant, and has a natural advantage at the DL (apart from height, at 6'3).
Any gym I've gone to, when someone puts on 4 plates, and it has happened rarely... people actually stop and watch for the most part.
Like JohnnySic said, probably less than 5% of gym goers could do it. Even less with good form, and a competition accepted style lift.

Re: Steph Curry is stronger than Michael Jordan?
Is 6'1, 250 with 18" arms and calves with 36' waist and 54 size coat with 415 bench and 500 deadlift impressive?

It's a two way street moron
Height alone does not mean a better deadlift
It is arm length in a proportional component

You think a trap bar is going to make a 90 pound difference?
Not even close

99.5% of the worlds population wouldn't be able to do that. Even those who train, a large majority cannot do that. Then add in those who can, I'd say 50% couldn't do it without a belt. Those who can, 50% probably can't do it for more than a single or with good form.
Completely baseless numbers to an extent, but 400lbs not being impressive? What a joke...
EDIT: To put into perspective how "unimpressive" the 400lbs deadlift is. The average crossfit athlete was 190lbs in 2010, and the average DL was 470lbs. But yeah... 400lbs is unimpressive.
Calm the hell down. First of all, I didn't use the word "unimpressive". There's a difference between unimpressive and what I said, especially given the context of discussing a professional athlete. Second of all, I am not a professional athlete, nor do I consider myself exceptionally strong, and I can deadlift over 400lbs (I do however weigh over 200lbs). A professional athlete deadlifting 400 pounds isn't exactly thread-worthy. I also thought that OP may have legitimately confused deadlifting with bench pressing. Not everyone here lifts (shocking as that may be).
