Interesting how the two on the list who were best statistically...neither made the playoffs....assuming Player B is Kevin Love and G is Carmelo.

    But I have a couple......

    Player I 27 ppg 57% fg... 37% 3pt %

    Player J 32 ppg 50% fg... 39% 3pt %

Barely top 10 in salary yet best in the league.

    Perspective.

Barely top 10 in salary...means you're top 10 in salary....

I'm pretty sure both players have far better rosters than the Knicks do.

Because they are far better players and that attracts players.

And they make less which helps team GET better players.

So Durant attracted Westbrook and Ibaka? Coulda swore they were drafted.

I also didn't know players were required to be GM's now.

Griffin got Paul, Jordan, and a top 5 coach in the league. (arguably the deepest roster in the NBA)
George got my other argument for the deepest roster in the NBA (definitely in the East).
    Harden got Howard and Parsons
Curry got Lee, Thompson, Barnes, Iguodala

Their respective GM's had nothing to do with that? Gotcha.

So 2.5 million (rounded up) is the reason why we have a poor roster? If we had that 2.5 million dollars, which is the difference in Anthony's contract and LeBron James, our GM would have gone out and gotten talent. But because he so selfishly gets paid that extra 2.5 mill, we were forced to spend out mini mid level on Pablo Prigioni and Ron Artest. We were forced to spend our summer courting Elton Brand. We were forced to give up a first rounder for Andrea Bargnani who was likely to be amnestied anyway. We were forced to spend 14 million dollars on Tyson Chandler. We were forced to give Amare Stoudemire and uninsured contract.

    I stand corrected

    Yep, we were.

Desperation was why Amare was signed and why the draft picks you complain about were used to acquire Melo and this season Bargs.

That bleeding of assets needs to end.

    Hopefully Phil can change that.
