The 6-10 Stoudemire averaged 12 points and 6.8 rebounds with New York before the All-Star break, during which he agreed to a buyout to the final year of his contract. When he cleared waivers Wednesday, he signed with the Mavericks for a pro-rated minimum salary of about $460,000. His contract with the Knicks was worth $23 million.
