Don't sugarcoat it, the Magic are a shitty franchise, both of their franchise players left that shithole for LA.
They get lottery pick after pick and still can't do shit.

Please go get us another franchise player, we all know that player is going to leave anyway.
How funny a Magic fan talking about another team sucking. Ya'll can't sniff 1 title, let alone 16.

Re: GT: 1/24/14 - Los Angeles Lakers (16-27) vs. Orlando Magic (11-32)
The Lakers are cosmic garbage right now, they dont even try to tank they try to win!!, their gameplan is outscore oposing team by chucking 3's and quick deuces every night. Rebuilding process must START with he firing of D'antoni as soon as we're done tanking. This kind of coaches are poised for 1st round exits every year no matter the team

Especially since there are some quality coaches floating around out there.
IMO Id be stunned if anyone else ever hires D'Antoni again.

This. Lakers probably wouldn't even be in this situation right now if they got Phil instead of D'Antoni last year. Kobe, Dwight, and Pau in the triangle would have been great. This year the team is a D'Antoni-esque team, filled with great offensive talent and shooters that can't defend at all (Meeks, Young, Marshall, Pau, Farmar, Blake, Kaman), and with another soft stretch 4 in Kelly, who's better than Williams was but with even less D (Hill should be starting because he compliments Pau very well, like Bynum and Odom did), and an old Nash who's even worse on D than he was in hs prime and an old Kobe that just can't bring it on both ends like he used to, being paid HUGE money to be injured (nothing against them but it's the truth). D'Antoni has a history of playing his starters huge minutes, especially if they're guards...
Teams like this can score a lot of points, but without any real superstar talent and solid coaching this is a glorified D'Antoni Knicks or Don Nelson Warriors team, as better teams can and will outscore them, and when the offense isn't working or the defense is just THAT bad, you get losses like this and the home losses against the Sixers, Bucks, and Cavs.
Hiring Phil, Jerry Sloan, or even Brian Shaw would have kept us out of this situation.

You'd at least have someone a bit more
Capable of managing egos in that locker room last season.
D'Antoni just strikes me as a guy that alienates players and bumbles around.
