Bill Russell in NBA Finals; 11 appearances 11 rings and 44W-20L record (68.8%)
Some butthurt fans will say it was ancient era but 11/11? 44-20 w-l record? To put in perspective LeBron and the Heat were 46-20 in that 2011-12 lockout season.

He lost his second season when he had a really bad ankle injury. He only played 4 of the 6 games and only 20 minutes in one he did play.

Wow. Editing is disabled. Nice.
I don't know if people will trust it but I made an honest mistake. Forgot about 1958 NBA Finals.
12 appearances / 11 rings
45 wins 23 loses (66.2% win. That's 54 win pace for a normal season.)
17/25/5 averages over 68 games.

I personally cannot put a guy only winning 33% in the finals in the top 5. I got 6-7 guys in front of him at least. Beating the Jeff Teagues and Kemba Walkers of this earth to get to the finals is frankly unremarkable.
