Default Will John Wall ever be a 20ppg+ scorer?

He averaged 18pts/10asts last year. Is he a 20pt/10ast player in his prime in a few years?

    John Wall stats:

He's lacking a three point shot, if he develops one I think he personally can.

Yes, perhaps as soon as next year. It would be probably be like 21 PPG..if he develops a 3 point shot like you said, he can get it up to around 25 PPG if he wants,

I believe he can. In some ways, I think Wall can develop into a freak athletic version of Gary Payton. I think that's his max potential. Eventually, GP grew into getting 24 points and 9 dimes a night. And of course GP had world class defense on top of it. Wall might not get 24 PPG, but I think 20 points and 9-10 dimes a night WILL HAPPEN during his career!

He needs a consistent jump shot, or at least better midrange game. He's useless in late game situations because he can't make pull up jumpers. That's rge only thing stopping him from being a tier 1 PG.

his jumper is inconsistent, if he can get that consistent jumper into his game he will be legit in the playoffs

Probably next year. Bradly Beal is limited, he's not. If he gets a jumper that 22 a night right there. If he gets to 24 a night he wont be giving us 10 dines though, more like 8.5

He needs to develop a Sam Cassell/Chris Paul midrange game and it'll happen.

Hasn't there only been like 7 or 8 players in NBA history to average 20/10 assists? Or maybe it was only PGs. Either way. Players, not individual seasons.

The only players to average 20/10 for more than 1 consecutive season are Oscar, Isiah, Kevin Johnson, Magic, and CP3.

I think Wall has the potential for a 20/10 season, but I wouldn't be surprised if he never did.

His jumpshot has come a long way since those first few years. Teams have been daring him to hit J's and he's been hitting them at a reasonable rate.

It's the 3pt shot that's holding him back. The defense won't come out to him on screens. If he adds a pull up three then he can just blaze his way to the basket.
