If it's Melo, Kobe should let Melo be the alpha dog. By that I mean get up the most shot attempts or be the primary scorer. With Love, it's unique cause Love can get his off the boards and be a stretch PF. If Kobe wanted to prolong his chance at getting rings as well as entice guys to come to LA, he would be well served to take a step back. But still be an alpha dog and the best player on the team. Remember MJ was the best player on the Dream Team but WASN'T the leading scorer on the team. The key is to be alpha dog quality. But when u have more than one alpha dog, a guy like Kobe, Lebron, or MJ can fall back not have to be the leading scorer.

No way in hell, bro. A healthy Kobe is the best player out of those 3, but by a slight margin if we talking Melo. Kobe is a better scorer and a passer than either of those guys, there's no way he'll watch Melo or Love chuck up 25 shots a game.
