dizistru bro. I remember arguing with people on this board and telling them Westbrook was a better athlete than Rose. But that aside... that steal he had vs the Spurs was one of the few things I've seen in recent memory that was like, "Wow, he got that?" I had no idea he could have hit that gap and got a hand on the ball. I'm sure the Spurs didn't either.

it's not only his athletic ability and acceleration, but his dominating mindset that allows him to make plays few have ever been able to. whether you think he shoots to much or makes dumb plays or whatever, no one can deny that he plays the game to murder the opponent, and isnt into all the friendly shit that many other star players fall prey to.

perhaps the one guy ever who literally wishes he could play the '89 pistons 82 times a season.

From 2001 and up, this may be true.

But rookie and sophomore Iverson had similar quickness than Westbrook, if not more.

I agree that WB is slightly faster and quicker than pre-injury Rose but Rose was/is a better finisher at the rim. How many times did we see WB get to the rim these playoffs and miss badly? He is too out of control at times.
