People always say best era for big men tell me why were Patrick, Karl, David, the opposite of dominant come playoff time.

It's really between the 70's and 90's in terms of big men.
70's had depth overall for each team and 90's had more top heavy superstar centers.

You do know that they were All-Stars, right?
Also, the myth that there are no quality bigs today needs to die. Sure, they are not Shaq's and Hakeem's, but there are several good big men.

Pekovic, Cousins, Dwight Howard, old ass Duncan, and Noah. Basically the 90s centers would destroy today's centers. It's no myth, today's centers are garbage compared to past eras. 70s Rockets era Elvin Hayes would body most of these bums today.
