Default M.Kalnietis to attend Nets training camp.

Last season Kalnietis played for russian team Lokomotiv-Kuban and averaged 9,4ppg 4,8apg and 3rpg on 57%fg in euroleague competition. He's a combo guard that should play sg, but oftens plays pg aswell.

Interesting and probably smart move by Nets, as they will probably will not retain Livingston. With being over the cap they probably expecting to land Kalnietis for cheap.

He is just attending Nets training camp, its not like we are ready to sign him anyway. Its good for him to develop his game, so he can better perform in his own league.

You might be right as he still has 1year contract with Lokomotiv-Kuban, but it's rumored that he's by far the best player in the camp.

    This

Most of those strictly minor leaguers should get experience balling with the pros in the NBA training camps. Look at Tyrese Rice, he's been trying on the summer league camps and became Euroleague Final Four MVP

Yeah, 57% was 2pts fg only, good catch.

Something would be seriously wrong if he was not. Did you see the list of the other players at the camp? It's a bunch of freaking scrubs.

Kalnietis certainly has some glaring weaknesses to his game, but he's 10 times the player any of those scrubs are.
