The reality this years free agency is EXTREMELY important..
Firstly locking in players before the cap increase so you have more money available to spend on less players once the cap increases..
Once it does increase the price of everyone in the league will go up. Including role players
And the big 2016 free agents will only sign with teams with solid foundations with a chance of contending. Failing this offseason and holding onto a mediocre roster for next season isn't going to attract anyone
