So Chris Paul is not even top ten even though ability and stats wise he would be top 3. I presume due to lack of championships, however you then have Barkley top 2?

Nope i just forgot about Paul like Prime_Shaq did with Stockton.

I think he would rank somewhere between Top 7-10.

I never rank players by championships but by level of play, production, efficiency, impact per game etc.

    Considering everything, probably...

    PG:

    1. Magic
    2. Oscar
    3. Isiah
    4. Frazier
    5. Stockton
    6. Cousy
    7. Nash
    8. Kidd
    9. Payton
    10. Curry (MVP and led team to a title, so if he keeps it up he's at the very least here, imho)

HM - CP3 (can clearly see him in the top10 so don't get mad), Billups, Tiny, Price, Kevin Johnson, Hardaway(s), Cheeks, Wilkens, Parker...

    SG:

    1. Jordan
    2. Kobe
    3. West
    4. Wade
    5. Drexler
    6. Gervin
    7. Iverson
(from here it gets very "blurry"... plenty of my HM's could definitely be in these last 3 spots)
    8. Sam Jones
    9. Allen
    10. Miller

HM - Manu, Moncrief, Dumars, Pistol Pete, McGrady, DJ (peak as a SG), Monroe, Carter, Sharman, Greer, Skywalker, Richmond...

    SF:

    1. Bird
    2. LeBron
    3. Dr J
    4. Hondo
    5. Baylor
    6. Barry
    7. Pippen
    8. Wilkins
    9. Pierce or Worthy
    10. Durant (he'll easily move up but let him have more years under his belt)

HM - Dantley, Mullin, King, English, Wilkes, Gus Johnson, Dandridge, Marques, Melo...

    PF:

    1. Duncan
    2. Malone
    3. Dirk
4./5./6. KG/Barkley/Pettit (find it extremely tough to rank)
    7. Hayes
    8. McAdoo ("forced" to play center in his best years but I'll put him here)
    9. McHale
    10. Rodman

HM - Webber, DeBusschere, Bobby Jones, Lucas, Nance, Heinsohn, Bosh, Kemp...

    C:

    1. Kareem
    2. Russell
    3. Wilt
    4. Shaq
    5. Hakeem
    6. Moses (can't even see the argument for D-Rob in front of him, tbh)
    7. Robinson
    8. Walton
    9. Mikan
    10. Reed/Ewing/Cowens (think each one has a great case)

HM - Unseld, Lanier, Gilmore, Thurmond, Mourning, Parish, Bellamy...

As far as peaks/primes? Would've been considerably different...

And you just described the game euchre.

I really think college players would really appreciate Bill Russell game if there WERE footages of it. Because of all the talk on this board about the combined points Russell lost out to wilt

Split seconds, at the highest level, which includes familiarity with lives and familiarity with the game( which IS the fundamental, and if you don't like that word, foundation of skills and decision making/recognition) in tournament style of play, are what determines the outcome.

Jerry West, the lone fmvp on a losing effort was considered Mr. clutch for his last 2 minutes of play. But there are sacrifices that a team needs to make, in order to keep him on the floor without being the wonder boy out there.
Scottie Pippen could probably stand and sit there and tell you all the weaknesses he spotted on/from the opposing team. Ask those Bulls squad and neg me if I'm wrong.

My thinking is, whatever McHale has done to be ranked highly. Gasol has also done it... Now, Rodman is interesting. Was once 10th in MVP voting with the Pistons..But can you really win title with him as your second best player like the other two?

    Maybe I'm underrating Rodman's impact.

Did someone really put Manu ahead of Drexler and Gervin?

    Talk about ring counting.
