Default Broussard lists his top 5 backcourts of all time.

Whatta you think about it? I hate to comment on players I never watched live, which would be 3 and 4

    Top 5 Backcourts: 1 Steph/Klay; 2 Isiah/Dumars; 3 Frazier/Monroe; 4 West/Goodrich; 5 Magic/Byron Scott. Hate to leave out Chauncey/Rip

Drexler/Porter deserves an honorable mention too. Pretty sure that's better than Billups/Rip actually. Surprised how low magic/scott is just because of how good Magic is.

    Drexler/Porter should've been included

Are these lists dependent on sheer numbers...or success?

    Kobe/Fish.
Neither were too cocky to keep the last shot away from one another, and always worked together flawlessly.
Sure, Fish's stats aren't amazing, but he was a good player and one of the clutchest mofos ever.
If we include SFs too, then LeBron/Wade is also an incredibly good tandem, especially on fast attacks

Prime Parker and Prime Ginobli should be on everyone's list.

You did not watch those Pistons and Lakers backcourts live.

Well he certainly never saw a Bulls game live. Ron Harper was averaging like 20/5/5 with two steals for 10 years before he came to the Bulls. And I heard the other guy was pretty good, too.

Give them Sabonis and they win a championship or 2 and get bumped to 3rd on that list.

Yeah, the Jordan/Harper back court came to mind when I saw the list. Harper altered his game and sacrificed his numbers (which he deserves credit for) but he was a baller. He averaged 20/6/5/2/1 the year before going to Chicago. When you factor in the GOAT and 3 straight titles, Jordan and Harper has to be considered one of the best back courts ever.

That backcourt is definitely better than Billups/Hamilton.
