maybe it helps in the rebounding. i agree with you, but the knicks were strapped. its hard to do much improving unless all their overpaid bench players retired. amare is not doing that, and honestly i think he will bounce back this year. maybe they didnt improve much, but they didnt exactly get much worse. maybe a couple of their new guys would do better against the pacers.

I wasn't saying it was a bad signing. Just saying that I'd like to see those weaknesses addressed. I'd also like to see the team's identity established more firmly for the future. Is the small ball going to continue with Melo at the 4? Or will the future be with a more conventional lineup?

As for Amare, I hope you're right. I really liked how he was starting to play with the improved post game, but I'm not holding my breath until he's out there for an extended period of time and there's enough time to see whether he actually can fit with Melo or not.
