I remember watching footage of him while he was a highschool senior thinking he was going to be SUPERSTAR. Green had it all the shot, athleticism, handles, quickness, great height for a swingmen and the swag to be a NBA Superstar. His game reminded me of Tracy McGrady both had the size, athleticism, and the handles.

Than on the draft i remember him falling to the Celtics (Green was projected to be a top 10 pick) but fall to the 18th pick. I thought Boston got a steal with this pick.

Gerald Green is now playing in Euro Cup and Russia his stats look good, hope he can make it back to the NBA.

Those names come to mind as well

I thought Deng was gonna be like a Pippen type of player
Greg Oden if it wasnt for his injuries i think he would be like the best center in the league.
Tyrus Thomas i didnt really see anything special about him when he was in LSU.

oj mayo - just seemed to have it all, a smart savvy game, a great jumpshot and good athleticism, that was early in his first year, and he has prob gotten worse since then

Yeah Iggy i thought had increible potential to be a stud in the league. But the dude is overrated now.

yeah OJ was to good in highschool i think he stopped developing his game there. I was a big fan of Mayo as well.

Laetner was huge in college, sadly couldn't perform agt the same level in the NBA. Joe Smith, well, he's in the Lakers somewhere, I think as a waterboy. Harold Miner "Baby Jordan", he was the first "next Jordan" and now he's all fat, played like 5 seasons and because unemployed. Bobby Hurley was very good, suffered a really bad accident that cut his career short. He had great court vision.

- Jay Williams. I thought he was going to be the next Isiah Thomas. Too bad he injured himself after his rookie year and was never able to show all his potential to the world.

Other guys I liked but the NBA didn't - Trajan Langdon, Sheldon Williams, Kris Lang, Chris Marcus, Sean May, and Rashad McCants.
