Thought it was interesting...Asomugha was targeted 7 times by Eli and he missed a full quarter. It was the most he's received in a game since coming to Philly. On pace for 60 targets.

According to PFF he has allowed 6 completions for 134 yards and a TD on 15 targets. DRC has allowed 8 catches for 142 and 0 TDs on 20 targets.

even though you won our bet somehow (that website was wrong), you have to concede that I was correct about what is happening to Nnamdi in Philly right now

He is being targeted much more like I said, and a lot of it has to do with the team he is on and not HIM

and yeah, DRC is playing better than Nnamdi is right now...DRC also has 3 INTs to Nnamdi's ZERO

Claiborne had 3 targets for one completion and 7 yards. He had a swing pass against him that I do not count, and had a pass caught in front of him when he was playing deep 3rd with a linebacker buzzing underneath for slants. The pass was a slant underneath, so no target.

Champ 5 targets for 2 completions and 26 yards.

Vontae got hurt early.

Champ looked bad against the Bengals. Tony Carter & Chris Harris continued to look really good tho.

Through half the year:.

Claiborne - 35 yards per game allowed, 3 TD's allowed, 1 INT

Champ - 35 yards per game allowed, 1 TD allowed, 1 INT

Vontae - 34 yards allowed per game, 2 TD's allowed

Considering the amount of WR talent Claiborne has faced, he's been doing extremely well overall.

who cares how many yards you gave up if you were targeted 5,000 times...or just 5 times

all that other stuff is meaningless if you aren't taking targets into account

both Mo and Champ give up 35 yards per game?...well what if one is targeted 15 times a game and the other just 2 times per game?...his stats are much better if that is the case

passer rating against is another great CB metric because it takes yardage/TDs/comp%/and INTs all into account

hell passer rating might be a better stat for CBs than QBs
