I don't think any players of his era would be calling MJ "a bitch" multiple times to his face, or the opposing team's rookies in a playoff series being so confident to say there is no one on the other side of the ball that frightens them.

Even if ranked as underdogs in the '93 ECF, and '93 Finals ... Jordan just absolutely never failed to deliver. LeBron overall has met hype, but has failed to meet expectations a number of times. MJ always over delivered.

Jordan, and lesser extent Kobe played with chips on their shoulder with something to prove. Guys like Shaq, or Wilt, or LeBron ... so inherently gifted that things came easy to them so they had nothing to prove.

That is the difference ultimately between the fear of failure, and the thirst to win. The latter for people who don't get shook by the moment.
