I actually agree with this. They were a good team before the trade. What was it, Felton, JR? Wilson Chandler, Amare, and Mosgov, who were a good team with Amare averaging 30 PPG.

I feel that team was good enough to push a top team in the East to 6-7 games.

As a Celtics fan, I actually rooted for the Knicks team to win games.

I have criticized Melo a ton in the past. But this mess in NYC isn't on him. They went all in on the old team last season, and now it's biting them in the ass. I still think he stays though. He isn't passing up on that max contract they are going to offer him.
