is hong kong extremely stupid for fighting a fight they cant win? and if they could win, would things even work out for them?

or is china so wrong the hong kong should protest endlessly until they get squashed?

I think every time Hong Kong protests, it makes the Chinese government look weak and shows the cracks in communism. They don't allow freedom of assembly or freedom of speech and freedom to petition the government for change, yet these people are doing the exact opposite. It shows the government is not as powerful as they think.

The greatest fear the Chinese government have is of the protests spreading to the rest of China. Xi and the other tools become powerless the moment the protests spread and the people wake up.
