That map is not to scale dumbass, Greenland is not that big relative to Africa. The earth is spherical, so the way that map maker chose to make a flat rectangular map out of a sphere was to blow either the northern or southern latitudes grossly out of proportion. Also, please learn about continental shelves and tectonic plates. Than you will find your answer as to why Greenland is a part of North America.

I think the OP legitimately thought Greenland was bigger than Africa and Australia because he looked at a map. What an idiot. In one of his past life times he was probably one of those people that thought the Earth was flat because of a map.

Just googled "world map", the first one coming up is the one OP posted. The dumbass didn't even click on the picture page, just went with the first thing showing up after pressing search.
