People really have to stop going to action movies and complaining about them being action movies.

And perhaps worse...going to action movies and complaining about not enough action.

Filmmakers cant win. Try to make a real movie that isnt just 90 minutes of monsters kicking over buildings people demand more monsters kicking over buildings. Make one with too much action, explosions, and monsters...wheres the plot? People compare it to power rangers.

They found a nice balance. I didnt think anything happened just as an excuse to show a monster going in on a city. It all had its place.

Big CGI movies can have a great story with great characters behind it. I'm not asking for much. I don't expect to watch the Godfather with Godzilla or something. Give me a plot. Give me characters I will like for more than 2 seconds without killing him off at the beginning of the movie. The Godzilla good guy fights off evil flying reptile is a horrible angle. Why the f*ck are they even trying to kill him when he was going to save them? It's stupid. Just like the people who are backing this movie up.

7 minutes, 53 seconds. Just above cameo status. The Mutos not only got more screentime, the plot revolved around them.

That's not pacing, that's poor decision making. As bad as the 1998 version was, at least we got a story that revolved around the title character.

You paid money to see a film about a mutated giant dinosaur god type creature fight some flying radiation eating monsters and called an element of the plot stupid. And then called people stupid for enjoying said movie.

You really dont see why id say dont go to an action movie if you dont want to see an action movie?

The people who liked godzilla knew going it it wouldnt make sense. Its about a 400 foot tall atomic breath shooting lizard.

If anyone is stupid is someone going to such a movie and complaining about things not making sense.

Just want you guys to know I put my reputation on the line (god forbid if I was caught with a fat chick at the movies by friends, family, and worst, co workers) just to go see this flick. I could of been a laughing stock, but I said no, the movie is going to be awesome because ISH said so. ISH is as good as Stevie Wonder in recommending a movie. What I realize is there are way too many power rangers-fruity children in here. I'm sticking to rottentomatoes.
