New York Knickerbockers President Phil Jackson announced today that the team has waived forwards Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Darion Atkins and DaJuan Summers, guard Travis Trice II and guard/forward Wesley Saunders.

Antetokounmpo, 6-7, 205-pounds, played in three preseason games, recording four rebounds and two assists over 13 minutes. He was originally drafted by New York in second round (51st overall) of 2014 NBA Draft. He was signed on Aug. 7, 2015 after playing for Westchester Knicks during the 2014-15 season.

Atkins, 6-8, 235-pounds, was signed as a free agent on Sep. 10 and appeared in three preseason games.

Summers, 6-8, 230-pounds, was signed as a free agent on Sep. 22 and averaged 2.5 points and 1.0 rebounds over 5.8 minutes in four preseason games.

Trice, 6-0, 170-pounds, was signed as a free agent Sep. 22 and scored four total points over 14 minutes in two preseason games.

Saunders, 6-5, 210-pounds, signed as a free agent on Sep. 10 and appeared in two preseason games.
