It's difficult to surpass the golden age, or even match it for that matter. Too many great players with SKILLS along with high basketball IQ -- back when the TEAM was more emphasized. You had the 80s Sixers, Lakers, Celtics, Pistons and the 90s Bulls, Jazz, and Rockets. Some of the best teams in NBA history.

The 2K era and beyond, to its credit, is getting back to TEAM principles. You see less "hero ball" with these new superstars (compared to the Iverson's, Kobe's, TMac's, Arenas' etc) -- but also more point guards and less centers. A double-edged sword if you will.

Which era, in your opinion, was best and more importantly entertaining? At the end of the day, basketball and sports in general are meant to be fun.
