After getting defeated in the 2006 and 2007 NBA skills challenge by Wade, LeBron became so insecure and embarrassed about his skills that he wanted no part of the dunk contest. All-star weekend lights were too bright for him just like they were for 6 of his finals. Again, this is a guy who had Nike confiscate a tape of him being dunked on and has to wear check my stats shirts just keep up his self esteem.

LeBron isn't really a creative dunker, look at his dunk contest when he was in high school, nothing out of this world. I think he realized that about himself and never put himself in the dunk contest.

Lebron is simpy not a great dunker.

I don't think Lebron ever had a dunk as flashy as Paul Geroge's 360 at the All Star game in his career.
