Default i need help with my homework :)

We've been tasked with proving the Riemann hypothesis. Generalized or not.

Note: I will be willing to split up to half of the $1 million prize from the Clay Mathematics Institute with whoever can help me with this proof, but no more than half. Sorry.

For those unfamiliar with the conjecture: all the zeros of the alternating zeta function:

    that fall within the critical strip 0 < R[s] < 1 lie on the critical line R[s] = 1/2.

Yes, I'm serious. A $1 million dollar prize has been offered by CMI since 2000 to anyone who can prove the Riemann hypothesis.

Your friend can't do this proof. No offense.

Solving is not proving. Solving generally is of numeric nature. Proving means you can show step by step why any mathematical term is logically correct independant of numbers.

I'm too long removed from university too even think about that late at night.

Some Kazakhstani's claims? I'm sold. Let's see the proof he "solved"

Need a little background. What is the point of the function? What does it reveal/solve?
