Don't know who the cleanest people are because I don't know their bathing habits but going by day-to-day experience, I would say Arabs are the worst. They smell like shit and an example would be these two girls that sat in front of me in class.

They are Muslim too but anyways, the Arabs smell like shit and I blame their diet. You smell what you eat.

There is a reason, as mentioned by the OP, why they would take 5 showers a day. They just smell horribly and the showers is too cover that odor.
