Or just not like it due to the bad acting, cheesy dialogue, horrible 'look', bad CGI, etc. etc.

All I had to do was hit two keys and it shut off.

you're in the minority ...some people might not like the casting or "acting" as you put it, but I say, the movie delivered on its promise. All of them from Robert Downey Jr, to Chris Hemsworth/thor, hawk-eye, the hulk, etc., have become" household" names. Don't know what your were expecting but it was -Fun, geeky dare I say sometimes smart and adventurous flick. http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-Av.../30654/#Review

I'm bored and got time to kill while I take a dump so I'll play along.

Serenity by Joss Whedon for starters, just to keep it within the same realm.
The first Iron Man, Mission Impossible 3 was extremely fun, I'll take the original Blade over this as well, plus others.

So it isn't that I don't like hero/action movies like I'm sure some of you are perhaps assuming. This one was just bad from the beginning.

Like I mentioned, bad acting, bad dialogue, had a weird look to it that took me out of the film.

    The Avengers cartoon series>>> this

if so wow...that must have been hard to organize and pay off
Some of the main actors sign two film contracts so that they get better job security and the production company pays less. Robert Downey Jr. is signed all the way up to Avengers 3.

I am a fan of superhero movies and I didn't like it either. A cookie cutter plot which was explained for like 5 minutes and the rest of the movie time was divided the fights.

    It aint even that.

It doesn't even have to be all Dark Knight and shit. For all I care it can be simple as hell. The opening just really turned me off and I was really hyped for it cause I like Joss Whedon's 'Serenity', I really dug the cartoon series, and of course Iron Man numero uno is a classic.

It was just bad, and not in a good way bad.

They were taking too long to get to any action, they were doing tons of exposition but in a bad way, with bad acting and very cheesy lines.

    Shit

There was pretty much none of that in the first 15 minutes. One of the more serious and straight parts as Loki appears and they evacuate.

Once again, you're trying to hard.

    Stop being a dipshit.

I hope the second is better than the first which was a very average movie in every way. That thing lived off the insane years of hype created by Sam Jackson's snake hating ass in post credit teasers.
