Nah, I have the base ps4 also (no longer have a gaming rig). It runs fine, not the smoothest experience ever, but you'll be right at home having played the previous 2 Metros.

Off topic: I also have a Switch. Highly recommend one, if you are really into gaming.

I think i'll grab a switch when PS5 comes out in a year or two


There's just not that many games on there that interest me yet, I like the dark lore titles that PS5 has
