So ****ing retarded. Why do we want to start two guys who are shooting 20% and 25% respectively from three point land, when we'd have two guys shooting 41% and 43%? Perfect to space the floor for our big men and Kobe.

Why? Metta and Fish suck.
Didn't everyone say Metta is better off the bench?

Lakers are just doing the smart thing by trying to dump another contract(Blakes) on the Blazers

Beasley sucks period, why would we be getting excited? The Lakers need that Jamal Crawford piece more than Michael Beasley.

I know we gotta ease them in, but seriously, if they aren't starting come playoff time I'm going to strangle Mike Brown.

Leaving Beasley on the bench is a great idea, let's not act like he shouldn't be getting 30 minutes a night on the bench or starting, he could basically be the Lamar Odom of the team being a PF/scorer off the bench and SF to end the 2nd and 4th quarters. Sessions needs to be starting.

The Los Angeles Lakers are still pursuing Michael Beasley, according to sources. Nothing is imminent, but talks haven't ended.

Cleveland PG Ramon Sessions is on his way to L.A. but Beasley deal is falling apart rapidly...with very little time to put it back together.

Beasley won't start. He's a scorer. He wouldn't get any touches with Kobe, Bynum, and Gasol.
I don't even know why we're going after Beasley. I like the kid; he's got a lot of potential. But come on, a guy like Crawford would be infinitely more valuable. Crawford's a gamer, while Beasley's living off his college reputation and talent.

The scoring for the 1st unit isn't the problem. Gasol/Bynum/Kobe do fine. And Artest usually guards the opponents best player. And Fisher plays well off of them. Fisher may not start in the future but right now we need much more scoring on the bench. Sessions/Goudelocke/Barnes/Beasely/Bynum or Gasol would actually extend leads & not lose them. Lakers would be set if we get Beaseley.

We need another guy to be contenders IMO...wether it's beasley or another scorer.
