With DAL, I think the pressure got to them and of course, Carlisle strategy to take the role players out and force the big 3 to score worked well.

Different players shone in different series. Splitter did a magnificent job on Dirk and Aldridge. They all took turns stepping up when necessary. Leonard and Diaw were great in the Finals. What beautiful basketball those last 3 games were.
I honestly think if Dirk had shown up in that series especially at the end of games they would have won.

If I lose I'll consider rocking a picture of James Harden's dick slapping me in the face with me smiling from ear to ear. Not entirely sure yet. Or any other picture too.

Where is your Harden dick slapping pic brah?

Yes I did, and they should have won it in '12 and '13 as well.

    And this coming season too.

No way. Manu looked like his wheels came off the year before in the Finals and the core was getting even older. Thunder was supposed to be hungry and energetic.

All props to Pops and co. getting his team to perform at peak levels when he needed them too. And no one could predict how good Leonard would play against lebron too in the finals.

Every single team in the playoff has an equal chance of winning the championship.

Spurs were proven winners and year-by-year built a really deep team (while shedding weaker talent in Richard Jefferson, George Hill, and DeJuan Blair). When both Tiago Splitter and Kawhi Leonard began starting games regularly Spurs became a much better team. I don't remember if I "picked them to win", because I've had doubts about Parker as a head honcho, but always knew they had potential to go far into the playoffs, and I wouldn't have guessed Parker's minutes would be reduced so significantly (in lieu of a really deep team).

I didn't... I honestly thought this was the year their "reign" ended, would get shocked in the 1st round and it all breaks up, with Duncan retiring..

Before the Playoffs though, as you can see, I had SA as well.

yeah but Leonard was a step down the rung in '13 though. He wasn't there yet.

So (yet again for that Smoke monster) you had made the right call based on how it was at that point in time.

My homie who likes neither the Heat nor the Spurs said that SA would beat Miami in the Finals before the year started and he was on point.

I thought SA would get bounced in the first two rounds tbh to start the year. Fckn Diaw was huge in the playoffs.

I knew they were going to win the title though as soon as they won that pivotal game against OKC
