MVP: Blake Griffin...he put up 26/9/4/1/1 on 59% TS the 2nd half of the season, and the Clippers went 30-11 in that span (60 win pace). And 24/10/4/1/1 on 58% TS on a 57 win team over the whole season. And that was the first season of him really having a decent jumper, and the first year with Doc's coaching...I have no doubt he'll improve even more, and the Clippers will be better. 25/11/4/1/1 and 60 wins would give him the MVP imo.

DPOY: Dwight Howard. Think this is the year Dwight returns to Orlando level. Showed up big time in the playoffs but still got bounced in the first round, he should be motivated to show people he's still elite.

ROTY: Jabari Parker, and it won't be remotely close.

A source inside the Bucks said that Parker already has dropped 11 pounds since this Summer League and is in the best shape of his life (before the draft, conditioning was one of the major concerns about Parker). He's more explosive than we've seen him the last few years. The same source said that Parker has been absolutely dominant in informal scrimmages the Bucks have staged this summer in Milwaukee. He's wowing people there.

Most Improved Player prediction: Markieff Morris. With Frye gone and the Suns' thin frontcourt. He will be playing extensive minutes at the 4, and I expect him to step up his game with improved role

Rookie of Year Prediction: Jabari Parker - This guy looks like the most NBA-ready player out of the draft. Wiggins will be good, but he's still pretty raw.

NBA MVP prediction: LeBron James - I think Clippers would get 1 seed in the West, Cavs in the East. But LeBron will get MVP for his impact despite having a subpar statistical season (26/7/7 on 56/39/80)

Rookie of Year Prediction: Jabari Parker - Would've been Randle but Lakers just keep stacking up that frontline.

Defensive Player of Year prediction: Serge Ibaka - No clear cut best defender in the L, but anchoring OKC's defense and his impressive defensive numbers will get Ibaka his 1st DPOY.

Most Improved Player prediction: Markieff Morris (stolen answer) - Always the hardest award to predict, but Kieff has a good shot. I think Giannis has a shot too seeing Kidd likes his game.
