I know a lot of people are losing their minds over the size of contracts this summer, but the real number we should be looking at is what % of the cap these contracts consume.

Justin Hamilton - 3.12%
Ish Smith - 6.11%
D.J. Augustin - 7.25%
Darrell Arthur - 7.59%
Etwaun Moore - 8.47%
Jerryd Bayless - 9.16%
Mathew Dellavedova - 9.57%
Jared Dudley - 10.18%
Al Jefferson - 10.18%
Mirza Teletovic - 10.18%
Joe Johnson - 11.44%
Jordan Clarkson - 11.95%
Solomon Hill - 11.96%
Jeremy Lin - 12.22%
Evan Fournier - 15.73%
Timofey Mozgov - 15.94%
Jeff Green - 15.96%
Kent Bazemore - 16.73%
Evan Turner - 17.44%
Luol Deng - 17.94%
Joakim Noah - 17.94%

Nicolas Batum - 22.20%
Chandler Parsons - 23.40%
Hassan Whiteside - 23.40%
Dwight Howard - 23.92%
Andre Drummond - 24.05%
Bradley Beal - 24.05%
DeMar DeRozan - 25.72%
Mike Conley - 28.31%

Obviously you also need to consider the age of the player and the length of the contract. You can see there is a jump from ~18% to ~22% for players who were able to demand a premium for their services, deservedly or not. I think the best values are probably Clarkson (11.95%) and Teletovic (10.18%). While the worst value is probably Chandler Parsons at 23.4%.
