One of the saddest stories in the NBA and nobody even cares.. Delonte West always been one of my favorite players and he wants to play so bad but nobody is willing to give him a shot and its sad that NBA teams pass up on him because hes bipolar, its so unfair.

he was great during that cavs run in 09.. but that was 6 years ago.
He has a very nice all-around game, can play both guard spots, and was a tenacious defender.

I like West myself but the hard truth is a bipolar person can be a pain in the ass if/when they lose control. And that's what happened with West in the NBA. For a team to put up with his issues he'd have to be playing like an All-Star. It's too bad because he could defend, wasn't afraid of big shots and could play both guard spots.

This. The only players allowed to get away with acting like assholes are superstars, putting up with a mid-level player behaving like a prick isn't worth the trouble.

Some former pros you can tell they just can't play due to getting old, putting on weight, not ever being the same after injury or w/e, with him it's totally different. He's physically healthy and he's still young enough that he SHOULD be in his prime right now.
