Acting like he couldn't be in the conversation those years is revisionist history. Those aren't his strongest seasons argument wise due to the competition he was facing. He was definitely top five, arguable top three player no doubt.

Who else could you say was better? Nash was more valuable but not an over all better player. Lebron was still not there either..

No Lebron was clearly a better player in 06-08 i have numbers backing me up also he was having more impact on defense than kobe Kobe was only considred a good defender those years off reputation
