Default We gonna act like Mirotic didn't put up a 20/10 Game?

With all the injuries happening to the bulls, this has to be one positive to take from it.

I unfortunately didn't get to watch the game, but looking through the box scores this looked to be the one lone brightspot.

For those who watched the Portland game, how did he play?

With the injuries, this will allow guys like snell, mcdermott and Mirotic to step up and play meaningful minutes which is a good thing.

Agreed it was the same with OKC and Jones until he got hurt. He was looking great.

Mcdermott has looked bad though. Quite disappointing.

He can shoot and has some post moves. We knew that all along. His rebounding isn't very good in the NBA. Sure, he got a double-double, but in that game, most of his boards were uncontested. Basically Portland running back after a shot, or being the tree between two teammates. But this is rookie Niko, he has a lot of time to develop. No need to celebrate a 20/10 in a bad loss.

I'm more concerned with keeping key players minutes down and developing mcdermott, snell and mirotic than any regular season win total.

Thibs will look to win every regular season game like a playoff game and that can only work if we are lucky enough to avoid injury. This method has only proven to burn out our players and injuries to key players by the time we get to the playoffs.

I love Thibs, but he needs to be more adaptable. Part of being a good coach is learning from past mistakes and learning other successful coaching methods to add to what you know. He needs to take a note on how pop manages his players.

We need to fast track mirotic and McDermott and get them into bigger roles if we are to be successful this year. These two players provide a scoring arsenal which can expose some teams on defense. Playing hinrich in lineups with no offense is not going to get it done. We need to be more aggressive with our lineups and put confidence in our rookies with solid minutes.
