Lol, well they can't play against the zone, so I'm not sure why they thought they could defend with it.

They only played zone halfway thru the 4th. They'd given up about 15 offensive boards by then..

Ugly, ugly game from LA. Allowing 3 different guards (bryant's all-NBA defense?) to go for 20+ is inexcusable. Throw in 20 offensive rebounds and you have a lose.

Worst I've seen LA play all season. Hornets are missing 45 PPG from Peja, West, and Jackson for christ's sake.

<predictable Laker fan response> "Kobe guarded Mason." </predictable Laker fan response>

Yeah, Mason, who "only" went 5.2 points and 10.5% shooting above his season's averages, as compared to everyone else who simply blew up. :P

49 to 31 rebounds. 20 to 5 offensive glass.

We absolutely sucked today.

Why are the Lakers doing this to us? Finally, when you think they get, when you think they're elite they lose like this. Why Lakers, why?

Chandler has continued his good rebounding, and Paul was steller with 26/11/6/3 and only 3 turnovers. This kid is something else, and I'm glad my hornets beat the LA kobe's. This is a great boost for the Hornets playing without key guys.

ankle injury. yea w/e call it an excuse but its the truth. he was limited on his ankle...in fact every FG attempt was a jumpshot

key to beating the lakers if you're a bad team.
Make up fake injuries for a couple of starters and put them on the bench.
You're guranteed a win against a sluggish laker team playing at the level of a retard on ritalin. As a bonus you get to rest your starters too!

*Note: Hornets aren't a bad team but with injuries they are right now.

I agree. His ankle seems to effect his defense/lateral movement more then anything.

I just find it stupid that Lakers homers are going around shouting "all nba defense, all nba defense!" when Bryant has done absolutely nothing this season to warrant a selection over Hinrich, Kidd, Artest, and Iguodala.

That was a horrible game by the Lakers, 4th quarter was as bad as I've seen the Lakers play this year.

Lakers were walking, while NO's were sprinting...not much to say, I would have been pissed if we won this game, simply didn't deserve this one.
