Because Shaq weighs a lot more than all of these guys plus Shawn Kemp had mad hops. Still, Shaq has more career dunks and blocks than any of them, so who cares about his highest touch. He got up there. Stop hating.

No Shaq's standing reach has been measured at 'only' 9,5". I don't want to go through the trouble of going the source I got that from but you can be certain that there is noway his standing reach is the same as Yao's. As for his vertical during his prime, I am not sure but I am definite that it was over 30 inches.
