NBA lottery pick
World B. Free (46pts/5asts/4stls) vs. Lakers (1979)
"World B. Free ends up just one Kareem buzzer beating sky hook short of an upset over the soon-to-be NBA champions Los Angeles Lakers. Not only does Free hit his usual high-leaping jumpshots, but he also fearlessly attacks the Lakers bigs and finishes around the basket. There are some ridiculously difficult shots made by World B. Free in this game."

Ball-hog, shot-jacker, not what you call a team player at all... Still, with that said, he's even underrated/overlooked theses days, dude could ball, 6'2 but pretty strong, extremely quick, really good scorer and shot creator, with good footwork, a really good high-arching jumper, wasn't affraid to take it to the rim time and time again (winning many fouls, even "bullshit" ones with the kickout), and could finish really well.

Him and Eric Money have the best NBA names.

This was Magic Johson's first NBA game. When the Lakers won (in dramatic fashion, on one of Kareem's longest skyhooks ever) he was as animated as someone who just won the championship.

There definitely wasn't a shot World didn't like.
If he played nowadays people would say that B stood for ball-stopper.

Free was actually fun to watch. He was cool. Had the really cool name and he could/would shoot, no matter who was guarding him.

Yeah, what an awful take. He played two seasons for the Clippers and they didn’t make the playoffs.
