It was a dreadful game. It felt to me the whole time like his brutal start (took some tough but understandable shots early) was bound to even out after he started 2-10, and it just... didn't and he finished 8-21 even after that. TOs and bad plays down the stretch. Given how much work Russ did to get them that lead, it's hard not to give Kevin like 80% of the blame for that miserably inexcusable choke on your home floor with a chance to end a 73-win dream season and finally get your second crack at the King.

Instead he's going to have to watch two better basketball players compete for a championship.
