I disagree with Plowking often, but I still commend him for taking the time out to make these. When it comes to making avatars and such, most people agree with each and put differences aside...

What effect did you use around the Jordan doing the layup? The white light you have going around him? Is it just to do with lights and shadows basically?

If I remember correctly those type of effects you need to do layering (overlay, color changes, gradient overlays) and also need to have a good set of brushes. On that specific wall, I am sure there were over 100 layers...
