No its not - its a phone call:

"listen man, I've been thinking about what I said and I realize that you could've taken it to heart or been offended. I am truly sorry, that was not my intention. Just trying ot be a man, here, and be straight with you---you wanna win, right"

"yeah - of course"

"Me too and I just want the organization to get as close ot winning as possible - right"

"right"

"so we just got to wrk so hard ot get to that level...do you wanna get ot that level of greatness - like Shaq or Kareem"

"Yeah"

"That's what I want for you too. Why not come down to the house osmetime and we'll work on some stuff together?"

"Yeah great"

"We cool"

"yeah - we cool"

Right - he apolgized privately then announced it in public. Its only fair, considering he embarassed Kup in public to announce the apologiy publically.

Sort of goes back to asking why he embarassed his GM and teammates publically in the first place.

Spoiled princess? Maybe?

When people say or do something wrong, they often apologize. Why is that fake or comical?

Did Kobe recind his demand for a trade? No. So who cares about his apology?

Well he realized that there's a zero percent chance he's traded, so he had to apologize. He can't just face off with everyone in the organization for a year.

People do it every day -- they MOVE ON. May30th is in the past, and Kobe's moving on. Maybe he'll be a Laker or maybe not, but regardless he's done with the venting and frustration.

Quote:
"Honestly, you all might be disappointed about it or whatever, but I haven't even thought about it in a long, long time," Bryant said. "I kind of stepped away from all of that and just focused on Team USA and just getting better. I get up early in the morning, I train hard, three to five hours, and just get ready."

He only apologized for what he said on the video. He did'nt apologize for asking for a trade. According to his friend Ric Bucher he still wants out.
